Ekiti Guber: Voters Turn Out At Oyebanji’s Polling Unit
Residents of Ikogosi in Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State turned out early on Saturday, June 20, at the polling unit (PU) of Governor Biodun Oyebanji as voting commenced in the State governorship election.
Saturday Telegraph reports that at Ward 6, Polling Unit 003, located in front of the Oyebanji family compound at Okelele, voters were seen checking their names on the register and preparing to cast their ballots.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived at the polling unit and briefed voters on the voting procedure before accreditation and voting commenced at about 8:30 am.
Before the commencement of the exercise, the officials assured the electorate that adequate materials had been provided for a smooth exercise.
Meanwhile, residents of Oke Oriomi in Ado-Ekiti also began arriving at their respective polling units from as early as 7 a.m. to verify their names on the voters’ register ahead of voting.
